For as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the art of photography. There is something truly magical about freezing a moment in time, especially when it involves families with young children. As parents, we hold onto those fleeting moments, but our little ones may not remember them as they grow. That is where photography comes in — preserving those precious memories as they transform into young adults we adore.

Over the years, my passion for capturing these moments has grown immensely. What started as a hobby has now become something I want to dedicate my life to. It wasn’t an easy decision to turn this passion into a full-time gig, but it felt like the natural next step. I owe so much to my friends and family who booked my first few photo shoots, giving me the chance to build my portfolio and gain invaluable experience intersecting with a variety of clients.

Those early shoots were more than just practice — they were the foundation of my new career. Each session taught me something new, whether it was the technical aspects of photography or the art of making families feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I learned to capture not just smiles, but the genuine connection between family members, which is the heart of every photograph I take.

One of the biggest motivations behind this career shift was my desire to balance my creative passion with my commitment to my own family. Making photography my sole income allows me to do what I love while also being present when it matters most. I never want my children to feel like they come second to my work. This career gives me the flexibility to be there for them, ensuring that I am capturing their memories just as much as I am for other families.

I am excited to share this journey with you all as I navigate the ups and downs of being a full-time photographer. There will be challenges, not doubt, but I am ready to face them head-on. This is more than just a job to me — It is a way to express my creativity, connect with amazing people, and preserve the memories that matter most.
